masbury says: Historian and WWII bombardier Howard Zinn reflects on the anonymous ferocity of modern warfare There is one end that always justifies war - when it comes down to stopping you from destorying my civilization I will. And all the rest of this gobbldegook about killing children and more civilians die is not true. We carpetbombed and nuclear bombed cities in WWII. In Iraq we use PGMs and JDMs and lots of other precision weapons that are very selective in their destruction. That the people we are fighting have no care for their own people and so hide amoung the children is their fault - not ours. But not to the point that I will let them destroy me and mine. If you want to line up for the beheadings -feel free. Just don't take me along with you. |
