Silkweaver says: The British government is pressing for cannabis to be re-classified in law as a Class B drug compared with its current, less serious, Class C classification. This is a no brainer. I don't smoke pot, but I recognize that it is far safer than the effects of alcohol. I'd rather see the streets filled with high, mellow, drivers than functionally restricted drunk drivers if given a choice between which should be legal. The word mellow hits a note. Lot less fighting and attention seeking from those just using dope. (That is why politicians can say they tried it, just didn't whatever) Just a thought...According to some sources, cannabis makes one a lot less susceptible to mind control.....Think about that! As a daily consumer of cannabis (started on a medical base in '94), it is reassuring to read about the changing attitude regarding this topic. Here are some more comforting clues: In 2006 a national IQ-test was given during a tv-program in the Netherlands. In this test, the people that used cannabis not only came in second as a group (with a score of 119, compared to the average of 100), they also individually performed better after smoking a joint then when they were tested sober. So, their intelligence improved by smoking pot, while the score of those that drunk a glas of alcohol deminished. I recently also read about a research that proved that the frequent use of email and sms is more ha... so much fuss over a weed that grow voluntary all around my property. but if i pickup it and had it on my possession i would be arrested. I like ti think of it as a gift of nature, and i never turn down a gift. Savi, I liked your part about infomania Haven't you heard about cyberspice? I'm a bartender. From what I see at work, alcohol & tobacco have cannabis beat in the Bad-For-You Derby, hands down. |
