I seem to recall a certain president mouthing these same sentiments. I suspect history may show him to be at least one of the most ignorant people to hold such important office.

If you don't believe in evolution than you don't believe in flu shots, modern medicine, drugs, bacteria, RNA, DNA, and of course a large amount of other species arounf you. go ahead and say evolution dosn't exist but you better not go to a hospital because the make drugs and vaccines that depend on how the viruse that causes you sypmtoms and disease will evolve.
