Come on Arif, I don't think Eric is lying, he's just mistaken and cynical. Not saying that there are no options. Saying that there are no good options...more like "less bad" options. If there were some very good ideas, I think we might have actually heard one by now. Even Bush didn't position his new plan in a very positive light...if i remember correctly, his words were that it would "bring us closer to success". I agree with Bush. And I agree with egoldstein!
