I've got a bird story for y'all.

Years ago, a pair of robins built their nest in a bush right next to our sliding glass door. We couldn't believe they'd do that so close to us. We watched them every day. It was so cool.

The parents were gone for food the day the 3 babies left the nest. We could tell they couldn't fly yet. They tried, tho, and went off in 3 different directions. My daugther & I found them. One in a bush, one under a tree, and one next to the neighbor's porch all in the same yard next door.

When the parents came back, they were stunned, then frantic to find them. They did and spent the night going back and forth to them during a terrible storm. I was beside my...

But, by morning they were all gone. It was a great experience watching the parents care for them and seeing them grown up. Love is universal.
