Specter has lost it ALL. And I'm certain he will lose when running as a Democrat. What in the world was he thinking...or was he?

Foundationally, this is about Toomey and the Club for Growth being able to unseat the incumbent Republican in the Penn primary. If Specter wins the Democratic primary, and that's a big if, it's his only shot to stay in any kind of power at all.Toomey, the guy involved in credit default swaps, is suddently all powerful it seems, even convincing Ridge not to go up against him. Behind the scenes, Ridge got something (support for a Prez run?) in return. It's all dirty politics folks.
