The Egyptian-born physician said that the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah and Palestinian militants would not be ended with "cease-fires or agreements." sometimes it seems to me that Al-Qaida is pulling all the strings. Ever since 9/11 it seems that things are playing out exactly how they would have hoped. You could not have been more right. Rather meaningless statement by Al-Qauda really... since that particular policy was already in effect. The Egyptian-born physician said that the fighting between Israel and Hezbollah and Palestinian militants would not be ended with "cease-fires or agreements."I'm curious. While I think all of us can agree that innocent people dying and suffering is the very definition of human tragedy, I'd be interested to know some suggested solutions that people opposed to the current Israeli military operation would have to the war/jihad/conflict in Lebanon, Palestine and Israel based on the "violent finality" supplied in the above quote. "It is a jihad (holy war) for the sake of God and will last until (our) religion prevails ... from Spain to Iraq,"sure does, and now they are going to make this into a Holy war to....it's unbelieveable they are such a discrace to their religion Ever since 9/11 it seems that things are playing out exactly how they would have hoped.I think they hope (and have hoped) for absolute world war between Islam and everyone else, believing ultimate victory will be theirs. Unlike the school bully, I don't think Al-Qaida can be "ignored away." |
