kmcolo says: Does this sort of childish behavior drive viewership? I mean are there people who watch this channel simply to see what their latest infantile behavior will be? Because anyone who turns to this for news is being let down. It's a sign of despair. They have no any other arguments. Fox News is pathetic. People who watch Fox see the news they want to see without inconvenient things like facts getting in the way. TV is a product. It must earn it's keep. A fool's money is as good as anyone elses Is it paranoid of me to think that they're trying to make the two reporters look more stereotypically Jewish? Is it paranoid of me to think that they're trying to make the two reporters look more stereotypically Jewish?Even if it is paranoia it doesn't mean it ain't exist in reality. I think Fox News has done an excellent job making Left wing blogs look as silly as these photos. Did you see the one where Radcliffe is walking his poodle Steinberg? I wonder if that one was altered in any way? So what I hear you are saying is that this sort of infantile behavior is what we should expect from Fox. Gotchya. enbar, I think you're on to something... No. I think it is a legitimate concern. I think you pinned it when you said "infantile behavior". This was not done in a news context. It was just tit for tat. A little inter-profession needling of people they are familiar with. If you want to look at this objectively (pictures aside) and with the context of facts, it seems that the morning personalities on Fox were revealing facts and those being ridiculed and made fun of with distorted pictures were the ones distorting and propagandizing. I thought Brian Kilmeade was Jewish. Oh well, I don't keep up with those things. So, when you alter people's photos on a news channel without indicating that you have done so, that is OK with you? Of course it is ok with him, it is his side doing it. Never doubt the power of situational morality! If nobody have noticed - each picture was shown for a few seconds - in a subconscious of viewers the traces of negative emotions nevertheless were left. Accumulating and combining with other methods of such influencing those traces could bring desired results to the authors of these dirty games. And how many more were passed by unnoticed? Seeding evil and tensions between people. Gee, Willie strikes again--Defending Faux news--that's a new low...or is it? Nope, simple par for the course. |
