They shared (share) more than an office, they both share the same political views, although many were duped by this Marxist, his deeds are providing proof that he and Ayers are almost indistinguishable. dl211, I agree that much of the Obama agenda reflects the same progressive, nearly socialist views that many of us feared, but I think it is over-the-top to say that Obama and Ayers are almost indistinguishable. I wanted to like Obama but his shady past and radical political views (and lack of any executive experience) kept me from seriously considering him as a candidate. So far as President, his policies and use of class-warfare, fear, and intimidation not to mention his foreign policy, is proving out my worst fears about him. Obviously I'm no fan of his, but C'mon Ayers was a terrorist and Obama has never been accused of that. I do not base the comparison on the fact that Ayers' was an actual terrorist, but on his political views which more and more seem to coincide with Obama's. No doubt Ayers wanted to destroy our capitalist system through violence and Obama through legislation, however Obama is actually succeeding at it. No doubt Ayers wanted to destroy our capitalist system through violenceHmmmmm.... interesting point. I hope that is not the intent, but he is making a mess out of things. |
