Once I started to use this little guy, my perceptions about netbooks received a major change. The screen is bright an easy to read. The colors are rich and vibrant. The music using mt headphones is awesome. This little guy is very responsive, and runs all of my normal software: Lightroom (digital photo  processing and organizing); MS Office, iTunes; Garmin MapSource; etc.WiFi & bluetooth work great! I did add the 2Gb memory but I'm not sure that it really makes that much of a difference but for $24 what the heck. I really enjoy using this little guy. The only negative is my cat, Jack doesn't like that he has to compete with the 1000HE for lap space.
