I don't know. A required statement of personal belief "having" to agree with anything is a bit suspect.

It doesn't seem like what's being represented is truly the case. I really need to hear the teacher's side.

Grades are not dependent on beliefs, they are dependent on the student demonstrating an understanding of the material.

Something seems wrong with this picture as presented. I need to hear from the teacher's side.
