A friend of mine is agnostic/libertarian so I don't think it is out of the question.

There's more to Libertarianism that I can agree with than to Republicanism. Most Libertarians I've talked to don't care about your religion, opinion on evolution or the gender of your partner as long as you keep it to yourself.
