Merican, you must know then that Bush actually did seal it all up? I forget the story exactly but one of the first things he did in office was to lock down records going back to his Texas governor days. I seem to remember that part of it was to protect Daddy Bush's dealings from getting out. Incredible amount of secrecy. Considering the Nazi-US-CIA connections, one can well imagine why those records have been away from public eyes for so long.

One certainly could... although one would wonder why weren't those records revealed prior to him getting in office.. That kind of info, if it was actually there and true, would've done wonders for Clinton... was 8 years at the helm not enough time to do the 'revealing'? Or was it perhaps that there was nothing to reveal?

Sorry to be applying logic here... something programmer-types tend to do...
