The truth cannot be suppressed forever because lies have short legs. And not everybody mad and dumb. Too bloody late papa. The bastards should have been taken down shortly into the second term, forcing him to hide behind his false war. Now everyone wants to be remembered as anti Bush, but it is too late. Not enough rattling of pots and pans when it would have counted. It is never too late for justice. It sometimes comes when the many suffer. I think we are heading into that time now. be glad to see the back of the ole war monger! IMHO, He has to be tried for war crimes by somebody--if we let them gert away with these last 8 yrs of crime, it sets a dangerous precedent, not to mention they need to hang. Yes. If no time for impeachment then war crimes or some justice after he and Cheney and their cohorts leave office. It is never too late for justice. And it's never too late for things to "count." #1. We can lobby hard for these necessary war crime trials. #2 > We can elect better leaders. BTW -- in the real world that means -- D'uh -- John McCain or Barrack Obama. Not to mention all the candidates who will be running for senate and congress. Lotsa smart people support Obama. But sleepin smart people, all!...Not ANY smart people support McCain (how?)... what really bothers me is the surreal nature of Amerikan politics, the circus without thought...the fanaticism without contemplation. The way it's rigged, it's almost impossible to get decent leaders in any office in the hub of our Gummint. "We the people" is an unfortunately failed experiment, i fear. We're on the downside of a failing Empire, just about to fall into either a dictatorship or a fascist oligarchy of elite Rich/verypoor. No good times ahead for most of us. 'Tis sad and outrageous. |
