[The] Declaration of Independence says we all have "inalienable rights," including a right to life, and you can't have life without medical care to keep you alive.
---
In the other advanced democracies, though, there's no debate. All of them recognize a right to "health care for all" as a moral obligation.
---
In the other developed democracies, there's a basic floor of coverage that everybody is entitled to; that's why nobody dies in those nations for lack of care.

In the U.S., in contrast, some people have access to just about everything doctors and hospitals can provide. But others can't even get in the door (until they are sick enough to need emergency care). That amounts to rationing care by wealth. This seems natural to Americans; to the rest of the developed world, it looks immoral.

The question facing Americans this fall is: what should be the ethical basis of America's health-care system?

Health care is never mentioned in the U.S. Constitution's Bill of Rights. The only "rights" in our founding documents are rights to action.

While there are many Americans without health insurance, not one U.S. citizen (and, by law, non-citizens) can by law be turned away from any emergency room, from any hospital in America.

Government run, Socialist-style health care has been a dismal failure everywhere it has been instituted. Universal, government-run health care disproportionately hurts the poor.

And any vaccine shortages demonstrates how government price controls cause shortages.

What that could possibly mean, clip-on-tie?

Basic, life-important health care must be easily accessible and governmentally founded and controlled. Dental, health evaluation first of all. Why should I pay from my pocket to obtain medical card for my job? Is it right?

People, especially sick ones, tend to hang on a system and this reality must be taken into consideration, but that does not mean they can be rejected from door step or treated poorly since they are poor.

I feel sick by selffish fat cat. More choices, if you have insured, keep your choice. For those don't have insurance, goverment-base insurance can help them. Don't live alone, God will punish you.
