Couldn't tell by the Supreme Court. I have to laugh every time I hear the christian persecution complaint. Use of persecution as a weapon is common among groups who want more power. The Jewish nation is probably the best example of this. These religious groups are not losing power, they want to increase it. As it is, though, the truth is that Christians are losing privileges — they are losing the ways in which they have been treated better than everyone else.Does that mean that they never believed that all men were created equal by their god? Equal only meant equal within their gang? Doesn't sound quite Christian to me. It never does when you actually sit down and think it out. I second that uh huh!!!! Use of persecution as a weapon is common among groups who want more power. The Jewish nation is probably the best example of this.In Israel it is a little more complicated. One branch has all the power, even over the state, and the rest have none. It's like in olden times where the Catholic Church had veto over religion and state in some countries. But that was a long time ago. In Israel today it is getting worse. |
