There is a difference between being bad at ones job and deliberately wanting to kill our sons and daughters. Rummy will earn far more as a private consultant/contractor than he ever did in his government position. Sort of makes you wonder why he stuck around as long as he did...

Geez, I feel like I should fall on my sword. Sorry enbar, being a bit of a newbie in these parts I clipped the same cartoon today with a different heading. I hope to get the hang of this site soon so that I need not die of embarrassment or appear to be stealing from others.

An accurate anti Rumsfeld cartoon.

Actually Socratoad, I don't know that there's a good way to avoid that happening. I know I've done it fairly often myself. The one thing that's missing on this site is a search feature (you can only search tags, as far as I know), and there's no URL posting history like there is with del.icio.us. I think most people here assume you're not poaching if you repost something someone else has already clipped. If that makes you feel any better.

No need to worry much on this thing. Since we do not just post links and bookmarks here, our clipping action is somewhat individual. Not in this case of a cartoon perhaps but when clipping a news story or an article, people could select different parts of it that sounded noteworthy to them.- (and using different tags, titles and remarks etc.) So multiple clips issue is not a big deal. Generally, with a careful clip following habit, this can be mostly avoided but there will always be multiple clips.

This is really nasty, but here comes the pop anyway for daring to create such a cartoon, and a pop of course for being able to post ...... only in the United States of America.

Definitely Arif. This is what makes America strong and special. (Thanks to Founding Fathers.)

This is what makes America strong and special.
While this is true, one is able to create and post the like of this cartoon in other parts of the world too. The USA is not the only country with a handle on free speech.
