Using this definition (which seems right to me) most atheists I've met are open minded enough to be called agnostic atheists, whereas most theists are (in my experience) pretty close minded gnostic theists; they tend to confuse "believing" and "knowing".

Maybe this is really about your ignorance in confusing the process of faith, which is based on knowledge, assent, and action.

This is an excellent clip in the sense that it places atheism exactly where it should be, as a faith.

Can we say about atheists: "they tend to confuse "believing" and "knowing". Or, do they affirm their faith through the practice of knowledge, assent, and action? I think we ALL know the answer to that question.

willhelm hates his belief so much and is so jealous of the freedom of non belief that he tries to redefine that which he admires (life without faith) to that which he is trapped to (life with faith). In this manner he can live with his cowardice thinking that belief and non belief share an equal footing.

Willheml's answer boils down to "You're an idiot and I'm not". Business as usual.
