I don't feel the problem people have with Obama is where he came from or who his parents are/were, but the company he keeps. Aren't we all known by the company we keep? If you sleep with dogs, you'll probably wake up with fleas. There are a number of things he needs to clear up, and his condescending message to the rich of California about mid-westerners and others was inexcusable. Is he so special that he is not subject to the same scrutiny as any other candidate? I think the longer this goes the more we'll learn about who he really is, and that's as it should be.

What is missing when some people consider Obama, is balance. The list of complaints are specious as best: he's too smooth, he makes it look too easy, I'm afraid of his name, and on, and on, and on. Disagree with his politics? Fine. But anything else is just bullshite. Are there real reasons to opposed him or just petty-mindedness? What suspicions need confirming? And that's most likely the case, because most people are usually not looking to have their prejudices refuted.
