The potential is significant for the US because of the subduction zones developed close to California and Alaska. By the way, the tsunami resulted from Great Alaskan Quake (1964) was very strong. I don't know why it has been omitted from the list.

Three decades ago or so, seismologists in the USA and USSR paid a lot of attention to human-induced seismicity including its military aspects. Soon it became clear that our abilities to control seismic energy are next to nil at region scales.

I wonder why North America has been spared.
It has...for now. The Yellowstone Caldera can change all of that in an instant though. And I know amgumen KNOWS what that is. ; (
