wildcat says: the booklet is available online pdf An amazing testament to the anti-intellectual strain in American fundamentalism that we cannot tell the difference between science and faith in the 21st century. Do the fundamentalists also question the theory of relativity? It would almost be laughable if American students didn't lag behind the rest of the developed world in math and science. The creationism and evolution argument, seems like am argument between a philosopher, and a mechanic. Neither can understand why the other isn't convinced by their argument, until someone mentions that perhaps they're arguing about two different things. That just gives them something in common to argue about Evolution isn't honest science. It hasn't been proven and it never will be. The only reason why people still believe it is because their only alternative is to believe in creationism. It takes more faith to believe that we are freak accidents of nature than to believe we are purposely created by a Creator. I know of a scientist who has offered atleast $250,000 to anyone that can actually prove evolution to be true. So far he hasn't been able to find anyone with actual proof. I'm not surprised. |
