I really wish I'd thought of this scam - I bet they make loads.

Wow... just wow.

One time a few years ago I had some people show up at my door to inform me about a prayer meeting they were going to be conducting in a local church. If I could not attend for a small cash donation they would mention my name in a prayer. For a larger donation (I`m assuming the donation had to be very substantial) they would say a special prayer for me. Wasn`t that sweet .

I once had some people ring my doorbell on a Sunday morning asking if there were any children in the house they could take to their church. After getting over their nerve, I told them that I was going to call the cops if they didn't clear out of the neighborhood.

OMG Jorjor, I hope nobody was actually dumb enough to let their children go. Good on you for standing up to them.
