The relationship between business and government is complicated. Undoubtedly businesses have been hurt many times by the government trying to micromanage and over-regulate.
But they also have developed a very cozy relationship with our currently corrupted Congress. Special interests are mostly businesses,organizations,and even more so organizations of business. They influence votes and help with the all important wording. When new laws or regulations come into effect businesses (like individuals) go right for the loopholes. These loopholes can be easy to find or difficult. The better the lobbying, the better the chance for a great loophole.

Is this a bad thing? Well the fact that I believe the Congress is corrupted is bad. I wish I could believe otherwise. But a business or an individual looking for and using loopholes? No, of course not.

Remember the government is waiting with it's hand out for your next payment. You can pay the easy way or they can do it the hard way. Under those conditions you should seek every loophole you can.

And a business is supposed to make a profit. They should use loopholes in order to prevent more of their assets being misappropriated.
