Because smart people know that you cannot power Farm tractors, 18 wheelers and trains (among others) with solar power. But you can with petrol based fuels.

Oil has played a pivotal part of the industrial growth of the last 100+years of the planet, not just the U.S. and will continue to do so until real alternatives that can power tractors, trains and 18 wheelers becomes mainstream (like Hydrogen based fuel cells are starting to show).

Moreover, The govanator is only riding the media for his so called green stance. The real solar movement started back in 1997 bef...
