Looking at the population stats there is not a shortage of men. Looking at the world around me I see a shortage of GOOD men. If I hadn't found (or been found by) a great man I wouldn't have anything to do with any of the pseudo-macho types flourishing out there right now. Therein lies the problem. These gals are nothing but smart. This wouldn't "man drought" be a problem if the men weren't out hunting crocs. You loose a lot of good men that way. lose* I feel sorry for the single people nowadays. Back when I was courtin there was no aids or hiv thing to worry about. There was no net savy, informed and decieving predators like now. Expectations were not so high everyone was unworthy. If you are single right now be happy with who you are and be true to yourself, Someone is right for you, you just may not wish to acknowledge it. skwirlinator: I'm not sure it is so much about AIDS, preditors... I think women now days are just more informed and more empowered to be more choosy. As well, more girls are getting involved at a younger age, and experienceing relationships at a much younger age than in the past. By the time they are out of college, they probably know what they are looking for and are tired of all the BS they have to deal with when dating guys they know aren't right for them. And besides the point, why does anyone NEED to be with a partner all the time? Being single has it's advantages.
