While "An Inconveniet Truth" certainly does contain a political message, I think its a bit of a stretch to call it proproganda, unless you consider our (and every other animal's) ability to continue to live on the Earth as a questionable political stance. There is no question the Earth's climate is changing. Do yourself a favor and learn more about this very important topic, so you're not just contributing to the uncertainties that the majority of American's seem to have on this issue. The movie is a good place to start.

BTW your comment was kind of ironic as the point of this article was that the NSTA has accepted teaching materials from energy companies for a long time, many of which are as you say, propoganda, with absolutely no scientific merit at all.

An Inconveniant Truth has been praised throughout the scientific community. You'll only find its accuracy questioned in the media, and on the many individuals that are easily manipulated by them (and of course there is the occasional scientist who disagrees, but they either have other interests or their words are distorted to make a small disagreement seem like an outright rejection of the movie).
