The hackers have been belting away at the cyber door to the Pentagon for ages. Homeland Security should have similar security. OR Is this another case of non-cooperation between departments. I wonder with security leaks, whether they are good ways of throwing red herrings around. In line with the political theory, "If presented with an undeniable and condemning truth, start a more outrageous rumor, discount it, and continue that in such a way all 'rumors' are false. Two other things. Homeland Security wanted a system that was absolutely secure. Them and the rest of the industry, but security, people and computers will never be absolutely secure because of their nature. The biggest problem Homeland security has, is that Computer systems cannot be made Foolproof. |
