Given a fair go and a life that has benefits over the old country, most will learn to love that country. The younger generation will rebel ( as any self respecting teenager will ) until they find work, a family and purpose.
While there is perceived to be a set of rules and laws designed to keep a people down, those people cannot be expected to love the country.
