stuck in the front grille of the truck as he passed in front of it on a petrol station forecourt.
</P><P>Authorities were alerted when a woman phoned Michigan Police and reported: "You are not going to believe this. 
There is a semi truck pushing a guy in a wheelchair on Red Arrow Highway."
</P><P>The truck driver was unaware of his passenger and reportedly refused to believe police until he saw Mr 
Carpenter, who was restrained in his chair by a seatbelt.
