Again, Saddam was not a threat then, at least not to the U.S. then all of the sudden he was one. How convinient. He simply was the dog that bit the hand that fed him. I truly believe we have among us the Far Left and liberal Democrats who wouldn't defend this country even if our coasts were invaded by foreign armies. There would be a giant sucking sound. It would be the mass exodus of ablebodied citizens to Canada and who knows where else.
Re: the WMD's. I wouldn't be at all surprised if those things were smuggled out of Iraq to Syria or Pakistan. Saddham was a horrible scourge to his people. Mass graves will probably be discovered for the next 100 years.
