My GRANDMOTHER had a mink collar which was three full carcass mink, feet with claws and beady little eyes and all, biting each other's ass (effectively by the way they were sewn) to be draped around the neck. Wear that in public now and one would be considered a barbarian at the least. How does it become more attractive to fashion the hair into a similar display? "Look! That beautiful woman has a dead read baby elephant riding on her head." PTEWY! BLCH!
