Yep. Beat me to it! ; ) OLD info so this is false? ^^^ It is FALSE. The Snopes article basically discloses that such a system was submitted for letters patent, but the banking industry wouldn't buy it. There were many practical reasons why as well, so it wasn't just about the cost of implementing such a system. My PIN no. is 5445 So what can I do???? still a good idea in principle. may need a bit of tweaking (and a bit more cooperation on the part of the big players). mind you, if i was held at knifepoint i'd be lucky if i remembered my pin code at all, let alone be able to reverse it in my head! why do people post info like this w/o checking it out first? hahahah @ 5445 hhahahhaa I am stunned by the amount of ignorant people allowed to surf the internet. They are a danger to themselves. They clearly cannot think for themselves as they believe everything they read in an email. The proof of ignorant people is demonstrated by the fact that the Nigerian scams haven't gone away and people still get suckered. Quit you guys. Not everyone knows about snopes like not everyone knows about clipmarks. What good can come out of a barrage of negativity? Take your own inventory, what motivates this meaness? Because everyone else does? That is ignorance. |
