I expect someone who aspires to national office to have some experience of life outside her own back yard. The governor of my home state has travelled abroad to further interests here - sister state relationships and trade agreements; Palin has yet to tell us where she's been. The packaging has been toned down in public but the message is the same. For those who know the history and genesis of fascism will recognize the frightening similarities.
