Great choice, wurdzgirl! Lynn Truss is the diva of grammar. I read Eats, Shoots and Leaves, and it was most humorous.

I recommend Karen Elizabeth Gordon; she has two excellent books: "The Transitive Vampire: a Handbook of Grammar for the Eager, the Innocent and the Doomed" and "The Well-Tempered Sentence: a Handbook of Punctuation for the Eager, the Innocent and the Doomed". They are fun to read as well as useful.
