Know many hookers who voluntarily go off the game? It's the money, honey. Expect many political prostitutes to decline their AIPAC top-up funds after they have again sold America with its annual subvention to maintain the strife state of the Middle East? It's the money, honey. Always the money.

Fine words do not equal fine deeds I'll reserve judgement pending fine deeds.

I mostly agree, but for one thing: it appears that there is a desire for a two state solution among many Israelis. There is even a desire for a one-state solution - without religious discrimination and with full rights and representation for all people - among some Israelis.
But the governments that come and go seem to be masters at creating coalitions that outnumber those voices that cry for true freedom and genuine democracy.

Their damnable government is rather like our own damnable government - it will remain as vicious as it is toward supposed enemies until the people of the nation simply won't have it anymore. American foreign policy can hasten that day.
