Well its a little late for that, the U.S. already does snoop on the rest of the world, thats what the NSA is all about (with full cooperation of foreign governments). This would simply make it that much easier to intercept internet and non cellphone traffic. Not that I approve, but its nothing new.

I think this has been the idea all along. It's interesting though that this administation is so insitant on keeping things classified and secret for National Security, or executive privlige. But they want to know everything about us. I think to begin with there should be a law that everything said in the White House must be recorded, it's the tax payers house not his, (Bush) and I would like to know what they are saying in there.

Run for the office, ekorstanje, and then you'll know precisely what they're saying there. And for the record, it's NOT his (Bush) house. It's the President's house, and he'll be out of that house when the new President is elected. If you would get to know everything they're saying - it won't do you much good, because there are others (terrorists) who'd know as well and then you'd be dead... which would make these recordings of no use to you... so use a little logic and common sense and bless him (President... currently Bush) for not informing you of what's being said and keeping your behind in one piece.
