"Speaking to an Egyptian newspaper, Fadl went further. “Zawahiri and his emir Bin Laden are extremely immoral,” he said.

His words sent tremors throughout the jihadist world. Al-Qaeda does not have a central organisation and has been a movement based more on ideas, rather than concrete plans for political change. Here was one of its former theorists attacking those very ideas. "

And what of those who bought and fought for the imperialists in this country against the so called WMD. No thought was given any of it. The Bush adm. saw an opportunity to start a war in an area of the world they wanted a base in -- 9/ll gave them that; without so much as a blink of an, Congress gave outrageous "right-of-way" stamps to the Military, The Patriot Act...and America just fell in behind this egregious aggression. Humankind on planet Earth cannot progress in the darkness of secured wizards, that WE have settled into the city of Oz. We couldn't help the holocaust of Rwanda, the almost serial slammings of Nature's untamed forces -- the threat of which is far greater than the games of the Warwhippers .

These "cracks" would have begun to show without the deaths of 4,084 (last count I saw) of America's loved and lost lives.
Nothing last forever. No great ancient civilizations (e.g., the Roman Empire, the Egyptian Pharaohs, the Greeks, whose fine minds saw the end of their wisdom). It grieves me intensely. There is no joy taken in knowing the vacant following of one government, to the next, is filled with great danger.
