This sounds like a great weekend trip. I love this sort of thing. I see the bird was spotted in the month of February at least once. I wonder what are the best months to try and catch this rarity in my camera lens. Then, of course in keeping with my persona, I must shoot the thing with my trusty shotgun.

Wow, I did not realize how close this place is to my favorite bird watching and winter lake -Reelfoot. I'll definitely have to have a look see.
