Truly remarkable how ahead of everyone else Obama is when it comes to leveraging the Internet. Definitely need to consider how an Obama Clog could be effective.

He built on Howard Dean's ideas and ran with them. The real winner here is Dean in more ways that one!

Internet is convenient media for spreading the true, where lie cannot survive and endless manipulation of mass conscience is simply impossible. Sure this is new era of shaping political landscape; in space of mind it will be different than it was before on paper.

It was the first presidential election with YouTube.

Obama's smart (among other virtues) and he gets other smart and effective people to work with and for him

He wielded the Internet (and text messages) like the way Paul Bunyan carved the Grand Canyon with his ax, and communication flowed with the strength of the mighty Colorado River.

While Big Blue Dumb Ox McCain was going down to the Senior Citizen Center to get free lessons in how to set up an email account.

That's how I see it.

He wielded the Internet
I don't think Obama wielded the internet, but it's more that the internet (the people) got behind him via the internet. The people wielded the power of the internet, not Obama.

I THINK both the people AND Obama wielded the Internet.

Tomorrow, Obama is going to make the first YouTube address to the nation.

That's him "wielding" the Internet.

Also -- I mean, have to see his YouTube channel:
http://www.youtube.com/user/BarackObamadotcom

And right away he set up a .gov web site: http://change.gov

Of course, thanks for the point that ALL our voices on the Internet added to his campaign. I'd like to think so. I'd like to think my few words, for example, was a tiny tiny help.

If nothing else, though, my words helped ME come to better understand the issues.

It sure would be nice to see a REAL democracy through the people on Internet instead of Internet controlling people!!!

What's amazing is how effectively he has managed to use every worthy tool and talented person in his campaign and his cabinet subsequently. Often we have the best equipment and don't know how to use them. But that's not been the case for Obama. I may not be American, but his rise and his journey to the top has been remarkable and awe-inspiring, and most of all, speaks of top-class intelligence.

He sure is running into lots of criticism now, especially about the passage of the large 'economic stimulus bill."

On the mainstream media the Republicans are claimed to be winning the 'spin war.'

Obama is going to have to prove his mettle.
