A friend and I were talking the other day, about how far from grace the US has fallen in our eyes, during the last decade. We used to think the US were the good guys. Now, with all the wars of aggression, the torture, the kidnappings, the lies, etc, that view has changed dramatically. There are no good guys in the world anymore. Just bad guys and even worse guys. That goes for a lot of our allies and my own countries too, because we bought into it and joined in on the bogus War on Terror. Now, with all the wars of aggression, the torture, the kidnappings, the lies, etc, that view has changed dramatically. There are no good guys in the world anymore. Just bad guys and even worse guys. Mistrust and disillusionment are probably a good way to describe it, not to mention disappointment. The whole "idea" of the US has turned out to be a sham. Fake. Phony. On bad days, I would even call it evil. It's sad, but that's honestly the way I feel.
