Maybe you could just wait a bit and give up in a month or two -- or just give up and no need to tell the world about how hopeless things are and how you want to flee the country or flee the world.

The Military Commissions Act of 2006, the "War on Terror" etc and next up is the Cybersecurity Act of 2009, which again, will transfer an unacceptable amount of power away from "people" and into the hands of the "Establishment". While the author complains of "our apathy," the pressure of tens of thousands of dedicated activist is tightening the noose of holding Bush Administration war criminals accountable for their crimes.

The author must mean "her apathy," - not mine, not the tens of millions of Americans who are working hard and consistently for these changes.

The false info and negativity in this thread is all too typical. At least you realize there has been an improvement, a relief from some of the political madness that has ruled our country for the last eight years.

Indeed, that is a Very good point to realize which perhaps some of the Obama critics fail to consider as they join forces and ally themselves with warmongers, racist, liars, corrupt politicians, true secrecy and true growing Republican fascism..and corporate and Superrich exploitation of the people.

Just for his supreme court pick and the picks of so many others in his Administration, he's truly transforming our nation to be it's best self...it's multi-culutral self, it's diverse self, and bringing quality and power back into our lives and national policies.

After yesterday he gave a speech on the 100th anniversary of the NAACP - once against inspiring the thousands in the audience and the millions who see it on TV or will catch parts of it in the news.

Yet, there was assassinations running around shooting in D.C yesterday...those who want tor drag him down --- but that's the wrong way to go, wrong if you care about our better human and political values.

Sorry if he's not perfect. Sorry if your pet project isn't yet #1.

But I'm not sorry to defend him.
