Well that figures! I'm a teenager (almost) I'm bi. And I have attempted suicide twice. Well, I am glad you're still with us Covi. Imagine, if you had succeeded none of us at CM would have met you. What a shame that would have been. You never know whose life you will impact for the good. Never give up - never! michellezm is absolutely right about that CoviwinklesNo1Fan. I've had rocks thrown at me, been called names, which is peanuts compared to what other gay men or women have endured, but suicide is not the answer to anything - ever. You are far more valuable on this planet than any punk or group of people who set out to discourage you or make you feel as though you have no reason or purpose to live. I won't be the victim of someone's hatred or dislike until they kill me, but it will be the fight of a lifetime if I'm going down. I have never thought I was a victim of homophobia. I just refuse to think in those terms. I'm not the one with the problem. It's... 1000 times 'thank you' michellezm for your good words! pop for alanocu and michellezm comments. well said. You see Covi, you're amongst people who care. Let me tell you, if you had succeeded you would have missed meeting, in my opinion, the best person on Clipmarks, namely, Alan. And what a bummer it would have been to go into eternity not having met him. I understand your suicidal urge (because I have been there and done that) but I am older now and know that there are always alternatives and choices. Never try it again without first giving someone an opportunity to talk to you and show you that there is hope. For myself, I will aways be available and my email address is on my profile. A big hug from me sweetie. Keep talking Quickstar. Especially where you will find intelligent people such as those who have commented above. Learn about depression and how to see it. Most people have known it, so you are not alone. . Awhh, Thankyou so much for your kind words, Michellezm & Alancou. Alanocu* Ahh. The power to edit already posted comments would be greatly appreciated on CM! Society is the one the has to grow up Coviwinkles and it's about damn time. Alanocu, you are absolutely right! It is often difficult to accept same sex attractions because of societies socialization of heterosexuality and because of incorrect stereotypes but as Alanocu said, it is their problem!! And it's slowly changing; it really is. Thank you Michellezm; you are so sweet CoviwinklesNo1Fan, this is a late reply, sorry for that. The commenting feature is out of my hands. That would be something the clipdaddies manage at ClipCentral. One good feature that I think would be nice is the ability to edit our own comments for up to 2 or 3 minutes after we submit them. I know Digg has that feature. It gives you a chance to withdraw or change something after you submit, but you only have a short time period to decide. |
