But it would've been nice if the directors had acknowledged that it was black and Puerto Rican drag queens such as the late Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera who got things started back when the cops showed up at the Stonewall Inn." I guess it's one thing for them to make a movie but they still have a long way to go before they give credit where it's due. The film makers are still only in it to make money and sometimes the truth doesn't sell. |
