It was not part of a pulpit service at Trinity. It was a conference. I am waiting for confirmation of the specific conference.

And now we have Beckel and Fund claiming a tape exists and is coming out tomorrow. Would be nice but I don’t know. What I do know for a fact is that the folks who control the tape want to keep it on ice until after the Democratic convention in Denver. Whether they will achieve this is outside my knowledge.

I've been hearing about this for several days. The best I can tell is that the source of these rumors is not trustworthy.

Jed Babbit confirmed this morning as he sat in for Laura Ingraham: There is a tape yet it contains Mrs. Farrakhan, not Mr., and Michelle Obama and the tape is very damning.

Jed Babbit is a pretty serious guy and I doubt that he
would put his reputation at risk if there were no substance to the reports. The "tape" is a DVD that
TUCC had for sale on it's website. The DVD was made
during a conference in 2004 and was "scrubbed" from
website in March 2008.

I'm sorry, merrie, I just do not believe it. I think there was chatter created by the Hillary campaign to diminish Obama's "electability" in the eyes of Dem delegates. There certainly may be a tape, I just don't believe the hype about it.

If there were a tape, don't you think we would have heard about it by now?

It is meant to be the "October surprise" according to accounts from the Republicans.* That would make perfect sense to me for them to withhold it until just prior to the election.
*I also heard that a Republican billionaire is offering $1,000,000 for it. That could just be a rumor, as well. But, based on Michelle's recent public statements, it's conceivable that she could make such a speech.
But, in any event, this rumor is creating a lot of doubt as to Obama's electability, and may be why Hillary is still resistant to dropping out.

Obama's nomination is creating lots of consternation among Clinton supporters, so there could be a lot of behind the scenes arm twisting. Michelle is really hostile
to the idea of including Clinton on the ticket. What's the
reason for that?

The one thing in this story that doesn't make sense to me (besides the fact it is mostly Clinton supporters spreading the rumor) is that one of the facts added to the rumor mill says the video was either free to download or for sale from the Trinity church website until just a few months ago. How is it that no news organization or Clinton supporter got their hands on the video? That just doesn't seem too likely to me.

Sure, the media loves Obama, they get giggly and he makes them feel funny below the waist when he speaks, but they also love getting a big news scoop. I suppose it is possible one of them got it and are sitting on it, but you would think if they had it and thought the republic...

Rev Wright is so outrageously racist, that he did his crazy rant at the National Press meeting. He's "retiring" to his multi-million dollar mansion and that website at the church will further his notorious propaganda machine, so as to keep the donations and sales money flowing in. The congregants at TUCC are by no means timid about their"victimization advocacy" at the hands of white people.
How is it that no news organization or Clinton supporter got their hands on the video?
The media has been ignoring all the suspicious ties
to Obama (except the chicagosuntimes) but, as far
as the Clinton link, it's anyone's guess. I thought it was probably a "vast right-wing conspiracy" or ...

Michelle Obama has never attempted to conceal her
contempt for white Americans.
