I'm sure there were people with the power to act who knew exactly what was going on. The likely scenario suited them down to the ground. If you're going to have a war, it pays to establish the enemy as the instigator. They didn't ignore Osama Bin Laden-They invited him into the argument. They keep going on as though Osama Bin Laden is a 'Superterrorist,' when he is an ordainary man with unprecedented hype. He gets most of his advertising through the U.S. media. But he is rich- both he and his family have close connections at the top of the U.S. administration. If the U.S. was a Mouse Trap Osama Bin Laden would be the cheese. The American people have ... By no means am I a conspiracy nut; however, it would not surprise me (though it would seriously disappoint me) to eventually learn that there were people with sufficient authority in the Bush administration who could have prevented 9/11 but allowed it to happen in order to further certain political goals.
