Being one of those allergic to mold and pine, I have a small artificial tree. I think anyone who uses a tree to celebrate their holiday (whatever it may be) should use an artificial tree.
With everything going on in the environment, this is not the time to be cutting down trees.

In the old days you could really tell when a tree was plastic, but today they make them so well, you can hardly tell the difference. I have a little one for the cats too with their own pet-friendly ornaments or else they are atop MY tree every 5 minutes! I love Christmas.

Hmm... plastic is oil. Oil is CO2. I wonder what the carbon footprint of a real tree is vs. an artificial one?
