I have clipped a few of these pieces too. Nice to see the sobriety about biofuel.

The bottom line (I think) is that there is no dream solution for anywhere near our current usage. While some biofuels show promise (biodiesel including 2nd hand grease/byproduct, and cellulosic ethanol...both of which make use of what might be waste), internal combustion seems to be doomed.

Clean electricity through solar/wind shows much more promise. Even there, the fossil fuel and petrochemical resources are not present to manufacture what would be needed... at current usage.

What "new" fuel shows most promise?
