If you trying to do two or more tasks simultaneously - neither one will be done properly. And some improper attitudes are deadly dangerous, especially operating such huge vehicle like commuter train. Any tragedy has silent twilight period, when something going on but not happening yet. Afterward investigators rebuild tragic chain of small, unnoticed events; to do it in advance requiring the responsibility and clear vision - lack of them is our usual way of life.
