In China, fishermen train cormorants to catch fish and bring them back to the boat. I suppose the leash and tight collar around the neck helps them not get too greedy. This photo is absolutely stunning.

Yes, it is beautiful. I watched a documentary on Cormorant fishing. It was so interesting. They are hand-reared and very well looked after. (Also saw a documentary on otter-fishing on the Ganges River in India)
