Yahoo 360 neither can be searched anymore nor can you clip from your own blogs or pages anymore on Yahoo 360. It doesn't screw Google, it only makes them self more localized to their community. What happens is that people will refer them less. Which is a shame because they do have some good features.

And since some of these same people do have accounts with delicious then it gives the entire network community a bad name if you knew you could Google "porn+yahoo" in your search engine. They are making an effort the best way they can to remove the tackiness from the public arena without deleting a lot of people's accounts. There is nothing they can really do to ruin Google. competition is good for all parties. The entire concept of "being enemies" is one that goes right over my head. I absolutely refuse to be anyone's enemy, but, I make a point to watch both sides of the little wars and I have accounts with yahoo, Google, msn, aol, and anyone else who wants.to fight with each other. When they ask me whose side I'm On I say the side that's winning today.

I have had to deal with people leave a comment robotically to those sites you don't even want to think about and then use a program command that takes addresses found in comments or guestbooks and the address too the entry. They email out their comment from your site and put your domain name in the from spot on the from line. Now of course they cannot disguise the ip address number, but most people won't know the difference between your ip and the sender's IP. In my case I removed the portions of the guestbook with the entries and then deleted the entire guestbook. Even if you say to approve before posti...

So unfortunately I disabled comments also on my yahoo 360 pages except for friends only
And a lot of spam goes out robotically at the groups where people's emails are listed. So this may very well be a protective measure to enhance the quality of the overall experience.
