Like I said on the Blogoscoped Forum. Is Yahoo trying to screw Google on purpose ? Yahoo 360 neither can be searched anymore nor can you clip from your own blogs or pages anymore on Yahoo 360. It doesn't screw Google, it only makes them self more localized to their community. What happens is that people will refer them less. Which is a shame because they do have some good features. Part of the reason may be with the fact that I have found some horrendous stuff on some of the Yahoo members pages by accident. Now with the words that they are using, a person can type in some of the worst words and descriptions you can think of and you would get a lot of listings from private pages marked mature. I found stuff on pages that people didn't take the time to mark their pa... Another possibility that comes to mind is to thwart a newfangled robot spam scheme. I have had to deal with people leave a comment robotically to those sites you don't even want to think about and then use a program command that takes addresses found in comments or guestbooks and the address too the entry. They email out their comment from your site and put your domain name in the from spot on the from line. Now of course they cannot disguise the ip address number, but most people won't know the difference between your ip and the sender's IP.
